Voluntary Fund of Catalonia
The Catalunya Voluntària Foundation (FCV) was founded in 2007, inheriting the experience and spirit of the Barcelona Voluntària Association, created in 1999. It's mission is to provide people of all ages with the opportunity to develop their skills through active participation in educational, social and charitable projects, making a positive impact on society. The Foundation promotes active, inclusive and participatory volunteering, strengthening solidarity and bringing out the talents of each individual.
Three programs to change the world
FCV promotes initiatives in three main areas: Catalans in the World, promoting international mobility and the development of key skills; Active Volunteering, which promotes the participation of young people in volunteer projects in Catalonia and Europe, and Cry for Peace, focusing on peacebuilding, human rights education and intercultural dialogue. The organization also organizes trainings, workshops and campaigns, and collaborates with local and international networks and organizations to strengthen the culture of peace and the social recognition of volunteerism.
